DTC Ice Sheets will provide EO-driven insights into critical areas such as Antarctic ice shelf stability, Greenland ice sheet hydrology, mass balance, climatology, and sea-level response in Europe.

The response of the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets to climate change has significant impacts on human activities and ecosystems over the entire globe.

DTC Ice Sheets is an EO-driven DTC co-designed with commercial, policy, and scientific stakeholders. To meet the diverse needs of these stakeholders, DTC Ice Sheets adopts a modular design consisting of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), Data Science and ice-sheet process modules that combine to form a digital replica of the ice sheet system and provide EO-driven insights into critical areas such as Antarctic ice shelf stability, Greenland ice sheet hydrology, mass balance, climatology, and the resulting global sea-level response.
