Held every three years, ESA’s Living Planet Symposia are among the world’s premier events on Earth observation. The symposia continue to expand in both size and scope. With the climate crisis intensifying, the Living Planet Symposium 2025 (LPS25) emphasises transitioning from ‘observation to climate action and sustainability for Earth’.

The regular CollGS workshops provide a platform for ESA and its partners to exchange on the current status of the cooperation and to discuss the future evolution of the Sentinels Collaborative Ground Segment. 

Responding to the unprecedented ‘triple crisis’ of climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution, requires a quantum leap in the way we observe, understand and predict the dynamic evolution of the Earth system and its complex interactions with human activities and ecosystems.
